One of the most awaited events is the World Cup, an international tournament organized by the FIFA that is held every 4 years since 1930. For the final phase, 32 teams from different countries, according with a previous selection, will play for a 4-week elimination period until the winner is elected.
The country that has won the majority of the World Cup titles is Brazil, they have won five times this football event and for the 2006 World Cup they are considered the most fearsome opponent.
Every World Cup is always held in a different country, there is a classification in order to choose the one that will host the event. The 2006 football tournament will take place in Germany at its different and majestic stadiums between June 9th to July 9th. |
